RankSuite Community Rules, Values, and Code of Conduct
RankSuite is a global digital marketing training platform dedicated to helping professionals discuss, share, and learn from one another. Our mission is to empower each other in a positive, inspiring, and beneficial way, helping to build networks and accelerate careers in digital marketing.
We are committed to providing a safe and harassment-free community space for everyone, both online and at in-person events, regardless of identity, expression, gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, political beliefs, race, age, or religion.
Harassment in any form is not tolerated. At the discretion of the organizers, participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from our community and events without a refund.
Our Community Values
✔️ Be Kind: Approach every interaction with kindness.
✔️ Be Helpful: Offer support, knowledge, and assistance to others.
✔️ Be Respectful: Treat everyone with respect, even in disagreements.
✔️ Be Safe: Contribute to a safe, judgment-free environment.
Our Collective Goals
Our community is a space for conversations and discussions focused on driving each other forward in our careers through:
✔️ Connections
✔️ Education
✔️ Amplification
✔️ Opportunities
Contributions to our community should align with these goals, helping everyone succeed in the digital marketing industry.
Note: Our community is not equipped to provide mental health advice or support. If you have any mental health concerns, please seek guidance from a qualified medical professional.
Community Rules
- Be Kind and Courteous: We’re here to create a welcoming environment. Treat everyone with kindness and respect.
- No Hate Speech or Bullying: Everyone should feel safe here. Bullying or degrading comments related to gender, race, religion, culture, political beliefs, sexual orientation, or identity will not be tolerated.
- No Promotions or Spam: Contribute more than you take. Spam, irrelevant links, and unsolicited direct messages are prohibited. Self-promotion of valuable work is allowed within reason, but paid service offers are reserved for active RankSuite partners.
- Respect Everyone’s Privacy: What’s shared in the community stays in the community. Respect each other’s privacy and confidentiality.
- Respect Those Outside the Community: The same rules apply to discussing those outside the community. Avoid sharing private screenshots, and refrain from negative feedback on companies, tools, or individuals.
- No “Stupid” Questions: There’s no such thing as a “stupid question” here. We’re all learning, so ask away without fear of judgment.
Anti-Harassment Policy
Harassment includes, but is not limited to:
- Comments that reinforce social structures of domination related to identity, gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, political beliefs, race, age, or religion.
- Use of sexual imagery or unwelcome sexual attention.
- Deliberate intimidation or stalking.
- Harassing photography or recording.
- Sustained disruption of talks or events.
- Advocating for or encouraging any of the above behaviours.
Inclusive Language
Our commitment to inclusivity extends to the language we use:
- Use people’s preferred pronouns.
- Share your pronouns and ask for others’ pronouns when in doubt.
- Use inclusive language like “y’all,” “folks,” and “people.”
- Correct with kindness, e.g., “I believe they use ‘they/them’ pronouns.”
Consent
Respect for consent is crucial in all interactions:
Online:
- Get permission before sharing someone’s contact information or personal stories.
- Notify and ask for consent before recording meetings.
In-Person:
- Ask for consent before physical contact, like hugging.
- Seek permission before taking photos or recordings of others.
Enforcement
If a participant engages in harassing behaviour, organizers may take any action necessary to maintain a welcoming environment, including warning the offender or expelling them from the community or event without a refund. These rules are expected to be followed at all times, including during social activities related to the group.
Reporting
If you feel unsafe or unwelcome, please immediately report it to our organizers. We want you to feel comfortable in our community, and we will handle all reports confidentially and with the utmost care.
You can report issues directly to Billie Geena or RankSuite via direct message or email: hello@ranksuite.io. If you’re at an in-person event, please find Billie Geena or a team member and say, “I have an issue. Can we chat?”
We are committed to maintaining a safe, supportive, and inclusive community for all members. Your well-being is our priority.
